This 3-4 step foresight lets you clear cars efficiently, dig roads in limited steps (Traffic Jam), and avoid wasting time on useless moves (Jam Puzzle).

• Label blocking cars in your head (e.g., "red car blocking the exit") and make moving them your first priority—all other cars will follow once the block is gone.
• For countdown levels, set a small move goal (e.g., move 3 cars in 10 seconds) to stay on track and avoid rushing.

Follow Car Arrow Directions Strictly (Traffic Jam Mode)

Traffic Jam mode’s car arrows are non-negotiable—each car can only move in the direction the arrow points (forward/backward), and ignoring this leads to instant road dig failure. Always check a car’s arrow before clicking to move it, and use the arrow direction to plan the road dig path (e.g., a right-pointing car needs a clear road to the right). This strict adherence to arrows is the foundation of solving even the most complex Traffic Jam levels.

• Move cars with forward arrows first to clear the main road; backward arrows are for repositioning blocking cars only.

Traffic Jam mode’s limited step count means you can’t dig random roads—focus only on digging the exit path (the road leading all cars to the level’s exit) to use steps efficiently. Dig one segment of the exit path at a time, and move cars only to clear the path for digging; avoid digging side roads or moving cars that aren’t in the exit path. This focus ensures you dig the full exit path in the limited steps and complete the level.

• Start digging the exit path from the outermost edge first—work your way inward to the cars for a clear dig order.
• Use one step to dig a road segment, then one step to move a car into the new segment—repeat for efficient step use.

Clear the Exit First (Jam Puzzle Mode)

Jam Puzzle mode’s core goal is to clear all cars from the screen, and the fastest way to do this is to clear the exit zone (the area where cars leave the board) first. Move all blocking cars away from the exit zone to create a clear path, then move cars one by one into the exit—this prevents a car logjam at the exit and lets you clear the board quickly, even with a tight countdown. Clearing the exit first also reduces the number of car moves needed for the rest of the board.

• Move large cars (trucks, vans) out of the exit zone first—they take up more space and cause the worst logjams.
• Use the exit zone to clear small cars first; they move faster and free up space for larger cars to follow.

Use Hints Wisely for Stuck Levels (Avoid Over-Reliance)

Hints are a valuable tool for stuck levels, but over-reliance kills the puzzle-solving fun and doesn’t build your skills. Use a hint only when you’ve spent 5+ minutes on a level and have no clear move plan—hints will show you the next best car move/road dig, but take the time to understand why it’s the best move (e.g., it clears a blocking car). This way, you learn from the hint and can solve similar levels on your own later.
