Escape modern life and start over alone in the procedurally-generated Emerald Woods, a mist-shrouded land of forests, lakes and caverns populated only by alien fauna and the crumbling ruins of the Genco corporation. Till soil, plant seasonal crops, build cabins, craft tools, catch strange animals, fish from a handmade raft, paint with berry dyes, cook hearty meals and explore flooded caves—all at your own pace. Every new save rolls a fresh map, new Genco lore fragments and different mutant wildlife, ensuring no two lives in the woods are the same. Non-combat survival gameplay loops revolve around fatigue, hunger and weather instead of hit-points, encouraging creativity and curiosity over violence. Whether you want to construct a lakeside cottage, bake a carrot cake, document every species or uncover the dark secrets buried beneath the trees, Emerald Woods offers a chill yet deep sandbox where the only goal is the one you set yourself.
Move with WASD/Arrows; interact with Space/E; inventory I; craft C; sleep T; auto-select tools when bumping trees/rocks.
